Subway Restaurant at Williams, California - Bathroom Review

Fast food restaurants are likely to be a continuing feature in this blog because it provides me the most oppurtunity to visit a public facility on a regular basis. Subway Restaurants has made a strong effort to brand it's image as a healthier version of fast food. I've generally had a pretty high view of their restraunts though it is seldom if ever that I have visited one of their bathrooms. I was pleasently surprised to find a facility that though lacking anything of style, was very clean and well maintained. That is a good testament to the staff who are obviously doing a good job at keeping their restrooms in top notch condition. If only all public restrooms were like this facility.
A couple of notes about the facility. For toilet paper dispensers they went with a very basic two roll holder that provides very little capacity and no splash protection of the paper. I visisted this facility in the late afternoon and judging by the amount of paper left on the rolls, there is a high chance that two rolls of toilet paper are not enough for one days worth of use at this facility. Our own AA-HRTDx4E series of toilet papers is an excellent solution for this type situation. It has the higher capacity paper and also a full shroud to protect it against splashing.
Overall this Subway Restaurant deserves a solid 3 flush rating. It was clean, and free of vandalism & graffiti but lacked any sort of style or design elements to make it interesting.
