Laurelwood Park, San Mateo, California - Bathroom Review
Laurelwood Park is the type of park that is great to have in a neighborhood community. Out of the way for people not familiar with it, it is located in a valley between three hills. There is a great playground that every weekend has dozens of kids running around and enjoying. There is a nice grassy meadow that is perfect for picnics and casual field sports. Finally, there are several miles of hiking trails that connect to the different neighborhoods the park services. I've been to this park nearly all of my life as I've visisted family nearby and would often come and visit the playground and hiking trails. The park itself has been renovated since I was a kid with a modern safe to play playground and of course a modern bathroom facility.
The bathroom is a fairly standard park bathroom. I found the facility to be fairly clean for a public park restroom. There wasn't obvious signs of vandalism but there was some light scratching on the partition walls for the bathroom stall. The toilet paper dispenser is a mini-jumbo roll toilet paper dispenser similar to our VSP-MJRD. There isn't anything to mention in the way of unique design or artisitic impression so it earns a solid 3 flush rating.
