Bear Republic Brewing Company, Healdsburg CA - Bathroom Review
On a sailing excursion with my dad we happened to stop in the small town of Healdsburg, California on our way to Lake Sonoma. Having never been there before, I was pleasently surprised on this idyllic little town off of Highway 101. Featuring a beautiful down town plaza filled with towering trees and little boutique shops and resteraunts, this is a charming example of what small town America is about. Bear Republic Brewing Company is a nice resteraunt that features many choice beers and tasty food. I was more than filled by my hamburger and french fries which helped me to take on the day of sailing ahead.
When I poked into the bathroom I was at first thinking it was just an ordinary bathroom. However once inside and able to see the entire room, it became apparent that there was some artistic qualities to this restroom. The urninal wall had an eyecatching pattern of tile that should really popped out and gave the room some pizzaz. This is a great example of a company taking what is often an ordinary experience and making it something unique. I did find it a bit odd that there were three unrinals and a toilet all in the same room without any partitions. The door is a locking door implying that the room is intended for one occupant only so the three urinals are even more odd. That being said, the room was clean and bright and there was no concern about its use. The only thing that was a detractor was some minor grafitti that had been left on the door and dispenser and for that I have to give this bathroom a respectable 4 flush rating.
